Hi..
Ive spent most of my day ripping my hair out of my head with this new GPS BT receiver I have purchased... I got it working fine with my XDAII and it pairs up and navigates fine..
However, on my C500 the Leadtek 9537 pairs up fine with the handset and bonds, however when I start the software up it says it cant find the GPS Device.. Ive done all the tips and tricks posted at PocketGPS forums and I just dont know wat else to do.. It does the same using the official TomTom BT receiver
Currently Ive tried: The Tom Tom Traffic Update, naming the BT GPS to TomTom Wireless GPS and TomTom GPS, turning the handset on and off during each step...
Also, does com 6 and com 7 setting in the BTserial port setup thingiyo need to be enabled or disabled.. ive tried it both ways but it aint working!! |

Have you enabled the BT Outbound Com Port (COM7) on the C500? _________________ Darren Griffin |

If we're talking TomTom Mobile then officially you can only use the Tomtom BT GPS, no others are supported. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I had similar problems getting an EMTAC BT receiver working, after a couple af days I tried unchecking the inbound com port and checking the outbound com port and hey Presto it started to work.
Hope this helps. |
