Mine Broke after 2 bumps on my mountain bike - i guess not designed for off-road use? ....anybody else expererienced the same or know of a better clamping idea for their mountain bike? |

Is this the Garmin mount? Does the mount look flimsy or do you think it was just a faulty part? It's definately not up to their usual standard if it broke that easily. Send it back and get a refund.

Yes, it's Garmin mount and it does look flimsy.

Quest is not exactly designed for off-road biking. Have you ever used eTrex family? I used my eTrex for more than 2 years in my bike, off and on road and it did well.
I recently bought a Quest and plan to use it in my bike for traveling, most on road but, occasionally, on rough surfaces. |

It's rugged and waterproof - what about it makes it not suitable for a bike?  _________________ Gone fishing! |
