I have a regular Spooky---
Travelling from Leicester to Kettering ( visiting son at Uni) when travelling home at a regular point the rout reverses and starts sending me back to Leicester...
Obviously I take no notice and continue driving - but the only way out is to press Navigate to Home and it then starts over all OK !!! from the current location...
This has happened at the same spot on at least three times....
Any ideas or has any one had similar _________________ Happy to meet -- Sorry to part -- Happy to meet again |

TT3 does not work on 1710. The errors you see are the reason why TomTom released a special 'lite' version for the 1710.
Don't know who sold the bundle to you, but I would return it as it will never work without crashes. |

If it changed your destination to your start point, then I think you may have a fault
but if it just decided to turn you round and go back around a different way, I think I had something similar, but it was just a re-route/re-calculate after a signal loss.
I live in N. London and the route when I left home to go to the Dartford Tunnel was north to the M25 then clockwise to the tunnel. At some point I lost signal, or something, and TTG recalculated and kept trying to send me back past my house to the North Circular Road. It continued doing this until I had got some way around the M25 when it gave up and did it my way. |

I have expereinced a situation when routing from Wakefield to Wombwell in West Yorkshire. As the car approaches a roundabout in the village of Ackworth, when about 75 yards from the roundabout the GO freezes.
Once you turn right at the roundabout the GO unfreezes but has changed the destination to home. I have to reset the journey and continue.
It happens every time at the same place - strange!!! |

That is incorrect. TomTom produced a special version for HP who sell it as the HP Navigation Pack bundled with the 1710. This software uses the Common Navigation Engine and is the only such version available on the PocketPC platform in the UK currently.
Whilst the 1710 is poorly specified and under powered there is nothing to prevent it running TomTom Navigator 3 although I suspect the OP has the HP Bundle and not TTN3. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Are you suere you have TTN3 and not the version supplied as part of the HP Navigation Pack. It's important to be clear on this as the two products are wholly different! _________________ Darren Griffin |

A natural mistake as this is a TomTom GO forum!
