Just doing a backup (before putting the speed, sorry revenue cameras on) - and there are a number of .chk files in the root directory of my TTG.
If these were on a PC I would assume that they are fragments found by a chkdsk and thus delete them. What are they on the TTG?
Files are:data04.chk, data05.chk and data07.chk

Windows enterprets them as file fragments... given their prefix (dataxx.chk) you can probably guess that they are important.
Leave them be... |

They're the voice files! Don't confuse them with .chk files on a PC!
You can delete the ones you don't want if you know what your doing - but if you rely on Jane, don't delete #5!

If you want to delete the voice files, it's safer to connect to PC and use the TomTom CD to remove them.
