Not familiar with the A43 but has it been upgraded to a dual-carriageway or similar recently?
As for a PostCode plug-in, there is only one, Digitools excellent UKPostCode, available at www.digitools.co.uk . _________________ Darren Griffin |

There's been various changes to the stretch of the A43 you mention since the TomTom Navigator 3 maps were compiled. In particular, the A43 Silverstone Bypass isn't in the Navigator 3 maps - there's no fix other than waiting for the next release of Navigator and upgrading then.

It is rather annoying that the stretch of the A43 by Silverstone (or Brackley Hatch) is not included on the mapping from TomTom - I share your pain! :x
More so when you think that this stretch was open in time for the 2002 grand Prix and opened to the public shortly after - with signs boasting that it was opened 16 weeks or so ahead of schedule ISTR. :o
Obviously this road had been planned for some time so the route would have been known well beforehand - much like the M6 Toll really...pity this is not taken into account when the mapping is 'frozen' prior to the release of a program like TTN3 which was released May 2004-ish?
I believe the maps would have been 'frozen' late 2003 which IMHO should have been more than enough time to include...
I second the vote for the excellent www.digitools.co.uk by Niels Thomsen - superb! :D
If I was TomTom I would have paid him to include it in TT3 - it is invaluable!

It's not just the A43 and the M6 Toll of course. There are some roads around here which have been open for the best part of 5 years and TomTom still goes crazy whenever I drive down them, in the case of a certain road in Newcastle it's been widened and remodelled so it's not exactly a new road but follows a slightly different alignment. |
