Hi all
I have a ipaq rz 1710 running TTN4 i want to use ver 3.07 and after install it works fine apart from one problem, i dont have any voices that i can use, i have downloaded the Aussie voice that works but is almost completely usless.
So my question is: does anyone know where or how i can get a UK english (preferably female) voice that will run in ver3.07.
I use my TT for multi drop deliveries and really would like to be able to use more than two address at once in my route plan.
Cheers in advance

version 3.07 will not run on the 1710. It will probably start and run in the beginning, but you wil see it crash when recalculating, voice instructions too late, gps position behind. This is the big reason TomTom came with the special TTN4 version for the 1710. |

TT3 will work on the RZ1710, I know someone running version 3.07 on it, but note they have purchased TT3 and not the Navigation Pack - TT4. If you have TT4, then you will have problems loading 3.07. |

Folks,
the only real problem is the available RAM on that device. If you install both TT3 and TT4 to storage card and refrain from installing ANYTHING to RAM then you can run either or.
You will need to load different maps though as the map license is different, and you will need to load separate voices (to storage card) - TTN3 uses WAV files, TTN4 uses Ogg Vorbis files.
The advantage of such a setup is that the TTN4 version can be tricked into working with the TT GPS 3 (or earlier) drivers that support data logging. _________________ Lutz
