Why would you need to pair it? _________________ Lutz

Well i was led to belive that you have to pair items together for them to work correctly
This tomtom does not seem to want to work and I have tried it 2 identical XDA2s's with the latest o2 bluetooth patches so it is looking very much like a software issue with the PDA |

Pairing is only required for Smartphones.
What you need to do is to discover the BT services of the receiver and to subscribe to the serial port service. Your outgoing serial port on the Pocket PC will then communicate with the GPS, so that's the port name you need to use in the GPS program setup. _________________ Lutz

you find it the same way as you would find a bt headset ie find the device highlight it then you should be asked if you want to create a serial port for the device select yes at this point and there you go as for the com port to use try bluetooth gps the very last one in the comport menu _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. I am not familiar wit the Microsoft BlueTooth stack, but in the regular BlueTooth Manager there is an option to search for devices and see what services they offer. _________________ Lutz
