Hi,
Having had to install TTN3 from downloaded cab files I have not been able to go through the install from CD process.
I have seen references to the TT Wizard on the forum but have no idea what it is, or whether it is useful.
Do I have it anyway, or do I need to install it and if so from where?
Thanks

All it is is a programme that takes you through and shows you what the basic instructions are and helps you set TT3 up, like miles or km, BT GPS or wired. In my opinion not worth bothering about. Then I have been using TT for a couple of years!!

It also adds a Today screen plugin that you can use to start TomTom Navigator quicker. Not a must-have, but a nice gimmick. _________________ Lutz

Thanks,
If I decide I would like to try the Plugin , how to I go about it?
All attempts to install from CD failed and I had to use the cab files.
Incidentally, I am very pleased that, as advised here, I had kept cab files on the SD card, as I stupidly used the off switch on the back of the Mitac Mio. I thought it would save battery power, did not realise that it was a total reset to factory defaults!!
One lives and learns (should have read the flipping manual!!!)

I think you can only install it from CD during a complete install. Since we don't recommend that the only other option indeed is the CAB file. _________________ Lutz
