Alex,
have you downloaded the 3.07 update from the TomTom site? If so, did you download the EXE or the ZIP version? _________________ Lutz

Would you like to confirm it's integrity? The file size is 3910 KB or 4003328 bytes
What happens when you run this on your PC? _________________ Lutz

do you know what md5 is? You can calculate a checksum of the binary file
the MD5 value is
ttnupd307.exe 96B432436AADBE786C361814E58F5B1B _________________ Lutz

Please clear your browser cache and re-download the file. Sounds to me as if it is corrupted, and that's why the installer won't start.
It may also be a good idea to do a virus check on your computer. _________________ Lutz

Back again!!!
am trying to upload the speed camera info and a few other POI's from POIedit from this site.
when in POIedit i have highlighted the POI's i require but when i save them they don't go into saved section so hence won't load onto my SD Card.
my PDA(HX4700)is in its cradle and connected to ActiveSync, and the SD card is in a reader connected to another USB port, could this be the reason why it won't load to the card?
it also won't let the AutoUpdate update when i request it,but i think i have worked out from reading on here that that is because of my proxy settings or firewall.
any pointers much appreciated _________________ Alex |

Down load the POI files or camera dbase etc into a file on the internet connected computer then unzip the folders you need and use the "copy" (control c) and "paste" (control v) to copy the items of interest into the PDA folder where the TT3 map you are using is resident (via active sync and explorer - this works for me, I really can't be bothered with the syncro options offered, all this is explaind at some length on this site so you souldn't have too much trouble - Mike |
