|
|
I've recently added a few more POI files to my navman (20 in all) but I only want to display a few of these most of the time (the rest are just for specific needs when I'm travelling) so I can search for them. Each time I untick the POIs in the My POI menu and the ESC out and save the settings the maps reload and all the ticks are added back on to the POIs!! I tried a reset and als removed a few POI files but it still happens - Any ideas? This is really starting to bug me now!
Thanks |

Hi Harkers,
I have the same problem like you. When I uncheck some lists of MY POI and I save this change, the cards reloaded and I can the the icons from thel list, wich was unchecked. Then, if I look for MY POI list then they are all checked.
That's a big bug from Navman :x
Regards

Same here, just load my first POI - Mcdonalds...well you know how it is, 20 mins after you have eaten it you want more...
Thing is, on some trips there are so many of the icons on screen I can't see the maps!!!
Must be high on the bug fix list...please.... |

I suffer this one two, my workaround is using different sd cards.
Have any of you reported this to Navman?

I emailed Navman today and got a helpful reply on how to untick the POI files and how I must remember to save the changes! When I politely pointed out that this was something I already know and the problem was the Navman not remembering the fact I had unticked things, it went strangely quiet....
I'll keep you posted. |

I've been sending stuff to the following address.
uksupport@navman-support.com
Yep, send it in, the more the merrier!
I stripped off all the POI files and added a test file with just 4 POIs and a location name (location1 etc) just in case there was something weird in the files but this did the same too. I also found in the Alerts menu that you can choose individual POI files and untick active but this doesn't seem to do much other than turn off whether the name and/or the alert sound occurs when you get near, the icon is still on screen however. |

Yep me too. Just had this one in from navman support. Took quite a while for it to sink in with their tech support though! Well, mustn't complain too much - at least they are listening!
"Dear Sir
Unfortuantly this is a bug we have found in the system and have raised with our developers to resolve asap" |
