Melbourne South Derbyshire seems to be confused with Melbourne East Riding of Yorkshire when planning routes.

Can't find any address in Birmingham B45 area.

Minehead in Somerset appears as Alcombe.

Various database errors exist with places in London. In particularly, streets in Marylebone, like Hinde Street W1 are listed as "Marylebone {Wigan}". Other streets in surrounding areas are listed as {City of London) when they're not in that borough, but in Westminster. Winsland Street W2, in Paddington, is just one example.



In fact, the whole 'county' recognition seems utterly random, unreliable and misleading



Heaton (Newcastle upon Tyne) is shown as (Staffordshire Moorlands). I've found others as I've been using Navigator, but these are the ones that come to mind. I've resolved that the "counties" are all useless and have programmed myself to ignore them.





If it makes any difference, I'm using the full Great Britain map.

Bodmin (Cornwall) .. appears on the maps .. but cannot select it .. (ie type in Bodmin - and it defaults to Bodmin Airfield each & every time).

Housing estate South Normanton (Derby) A38/Ball Hill & Carter Lane East - It's been there 3 years!!



Housing estate off the A4071 Coventry Road Bilton Nr. Rugby some 300 houses been built about 2 years!!



Housing Estate Stanford in the vale (Oxfordshire)off A417 between Joyces Road and High Street 50+ houses 12 months old!!



And we were all lead to believe that the maps were upto date as of Dec 2002!!

Is this just places or roads too? If it's roads then the new A130

My home address is near Clayton in Bradford, West Yorkshire but shows as Clayton (Sussex).

I've noted the following database problems in the last couple of weeks



Glossop Way, Wigan, WN2 whole estate missing

Elmers Green, Skelmersdale missing

Quartz Way, Litherland, Liverpool, CH21 7RA - whole estate missing

Liverpool area postcodes all begin with L, the whole area was re-designated postcode CH about 3 years ago

Durham Court CH65 and surrounding roads, Ellesmere Port all missing

Heywood, as a town doesn't exist but its streets can be found under Oldham.

Broughton Towers Way Preston, PR2. 4 years old ,whole estate missing approx 300 houses

Hyde in Thameside doesn't exist.

Newton le Willows in Merseyside doesn't exist but appears to be part of Haydock.

Middleton in Manchester is in the database as Middleton(Rochdale)

Highlands Heath,London SW15 3TY. This is a large estate off Portsmouth Road, London SW15 shown on the A-Z etc. Consisting of 140+ properties where I live so I suffer the ignomy of going off the map when at home aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh
