Have you installed the TT Traffic update. C500 wont work unless you do. _________________ Audi S4

It won't work with 3rd party GPS receivers he means.
It SHOULD work with the original TomTom receiver.
Which GPS receiver do you have? |

Desperately looking for any help, as TOMTOM don't want to know me. I have successfully copied the contents from the packaged SD to my Mini SD and installed the Patch from support.tomtom.com/traffic/software/ttm_sp.zip but I don't get a constant blue light from the TomTom GPS receiver to indicate a connection. I have also rebooted several times. On the brink of giving up.... Any help will be much appreciated. Harj |

Remove any BT GPS Bonds in BT manager
Ensure 'Outbound COM7' is selected in BT Settings
Install TomTom
Run the Traffic Update
Launch TomTom and wait for Beep and message to restart phone
Restart Phone
Launch TomTom
After 30 secs or so you should here a beep and see the BT LED go steady. The above applies to the TomTom BT GPS. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Its WORKING!!!! Well basically all you need to do is install the patch onto the storage card and not to the C500. |

Ah yes, indeed that is a good point and not actually edxplained in the installation instructions. When you run the Traffic Installer thehandset prompts you for the install location.
Although the TomTom application is located on the storage card it's far from obvious that you need to select 'Storage Card' as the install location. If you don't do this no error message is displayed but the update is not applied and you won't get any further with running TT Mobile on the C500. _________________ Darren Griffin |
