Welcome to the forum.
You should be able to install TomTom Mobile onto the phone's storage card with the CD that came with your purchased copy. This will then create all the required directories/folders. _________________ Lutz

Your post says that you started out by copying a mate's TomTom Mobile card, and you bought just a GPS receiver (not GPRS, that's packetised data, not Global Positioning), not a TomTom Mobile pack.
Pocket GPS World does not support those wishing to install and use software other than in accordance with a licence agreement. I believe Lutz's reply was saying simply that if you had a TomTom Mobile pack and you'd damaged the memory card, you should also have the software and maps on a CD in that pack.
If you have an official TomTom Mobile pack and you can't figure it out for yourself, contact TomTom Support about getting the memory card 'repaired' - I believe they allow you to post off an official TomTom Mobile memory card for it to be set up for you.
