Moto MPx220 only works with latest ROM (this is more of a BT issue though, and not related to TTM) _________________ Lutz

I realy like the way this thread are going...!
This is wery useful because a lot of people who have Smartphone etc. do not even know that they can get TTM for their phone.
Keep up this good work! :D _________________ Gunnar Nystul, Forum Admin, TomTom Forum Norway and Nystul Navigasjon |

I understood these two used the Symbian UIQ user interface not Symbian 60 hence will not work with any current release of Tomtom.
I would be pleased to hear otherwise because I have a 910 and would like to use Tomtom |

It's the "might work" bit - has anyone dared try it? |

I'm pretty sure there's no support in TomTom Mobile for Symbian phones that don't use Nokia Series 60.
Someone has mentioned the Nokia 9500 Communicator elsewhere, which uses a different Nokia Series release (Series 80, I think), and I believe the conclusion was that TomTom Mobile won't work on that. If that's the case, I can't see TomTom Mobile working on UIQ.

A phone running Series 60 doesn't necessarily mean that TT Mobile will run as the program requires quite a specific version of the operating system. For example, the Sendo X is running Series 60, but version 1.2 and therefore TT Mobile does NOT run on it.
The yet to be released Nokia 3230 runs the same version OS as the 6600 (Series 60, Symbian OS 7.0s), so I'm hazzarding a guess that TT Mobile will run fine on it - whereas the new Nokia 6630 runs Series 60 with Symbian OS 8.0a, so may or may not run TT Mobile - we really need someone to try it.
Also, some of the other phones you have listed, such as the 3650, 7650, N-Gage and N-Gage QD will NOT run TT Mobile as they use Series 60 Symbian OS 6.1
As for the Samsung and Panasonic phones - I have no idea.

I think it will be useful for a lot of smartphone owners.

There seem to be a lot more question marks than answers at the moment. I haven't gone through all the 'maybe's to see if they all have MMC or equivalent yet. |

Seeing as the i-Mate SP3 is essentially the same as the C500 (same phone, but with a different case) then I think you can list it as working. |
