further update.....

I have now sussed out how to load/install maps! YIPPEE!, However, I've now come across two annoying problems which I can't seem to work out (no change there). My problems are when I 'export to PDA' not only does it take an extremely long time, after a couple of hours (yes hours) I finally get an error telling me my card is full (admittedly, I'm exporting from Sunderland to South Coast) and secondly when I export a smaller map (to test it) all is well to above problem but I then get the error message on the PDA 'the following unrecoverable eror occured: the application has detected that the map file has been altered or corrupted. please reinstall it.'

Thoughts anyone?

You need to use a card reader otherwise you will be at it for hours!! go to /mapsonic_maps and cut maps to there
