It all hinges on when iTIS having the ability to support a shopping cart on their website. Unfortunately this is delaying it not just for CoPilot but for other products too. |

I can't understand why we are waiting so long for iTIS when TomTom are taking payment for this feature from their own site, also it is not that hard to add a shopping cart onto websites.
At the moment I am not very impressed with ALK and am begining to regret purchasing their product. _________________ Please follow me on twitter @mdyson1968 |

I agree, putting a shopping cart system onto a website isn't difficult. I don't know what sort of agreement TomTom have with iTIS, whether they have one at all. It maybe that TomTom aren't legally licensing the data, or they're getting the data from another trusted source, or they are paying the trusted source who has a direct agreement witih iTIS.
All I know is that iTIS apparently are requesting it be done through the iTIS website in terms of adding a shopping cart system.

I have spoken with ALK and ITIS this week and both companies are working hard to achieve the ultimate goal in
a) ALK making Traffic available very soon
b) ITIS having a shopping cart system available to take payment
So hopefully this will mean that CoPilot Traffic will be available in the very near future. Again, I can't give any dates as this is down to timescales set out by both companies.
Keep checking back with ALK for more information. |

Any update on Traffic availability in the UK since Jan 16th? I have to decide whether to renew another year of Trafficmaster subscription in a few weeks time and I would dearly love to replace it with something better.
Thanks |

Six months on and no update. Phoned ALK tech support but they just tell me they'll ring back, although they never do.
What's going on? You can't advertise a product as having a certain feature and then simply fail to provide it. In the UK at least, this is illegal. |

I have an Orange SPV with Co Pilot 5 live. I enquired about the live system two weeks ago and finally someone came back to me. The system is now active and I am on a 2 month free trial but they cannot confirm the yearly cost as yet but it is expected to be around £50 pa I was told.
The system is ok and has routed me around roadworks etc but still has a few gripes
