New user - today - need tomtom 3 and xda help

Hi there,

just joined the xda and tomom 3 today

Have loaded tomtom3 bluetooth -
registered activation code
paired with bluetooth
tomtom 3 loads perfectly but always says GPS Connection Disabled

Any help please

Start > Settings > System > GPS > status, select the correct port (your outgoing BT Serial port) and the speed 38400, then set the check box. This should get you going.

in the tomtom gps screen select GPS if the box on the left hand side is checked uncheck it tap the top box and from the list select tomtom wireless gps then tap the bottom bos and select bluetooth gps the recheck the box on the left hand side & turn the gps on then leave it iwhere it can see a clear veiw ofthe sky for and hour or so it can get its bearings and that should be it if that doesnt work you may need to update the rom image from the O2 website
