|
|
I have used Tom Tom Navigator 3 for a few months without problems. Unfortunately, the original receiver was dropped and broken (not by me!). A replacement receiver (same Tom Tom model) will not link with my HP5550. Have reinstalled software and have all codes but screen message alternated between 'GPS position unreliable' and 'GPS disabled' - the latter with a popup box saying 'unable to launch the GPS control panel.' I gave the system ample time to connect as suggested in user guide but while I'm sure the problem is me, anyone have any ideas? |

What are you seeing in the TomTom GPS application (first tab)?
Are there scrolling dots?
Is there a clock and is it right?
Any grey bars?
If you can describe what you see, the settings in your second tab, and the make and model of the GPS, we'll have a better chance of helping.

The GPS page is totally 'dead' with no scrolling dots and no sign of bars
