All,
I have ordered a GPS kit from DELL, consisting of a X30 Wifi and BT, and the wired TomTom Navigator 3 software. Although I am still awaiting delivery of my PDA, the software has arrived today, and I am a little confused.
In the box is 10 CD's, numbered from 0 to 9, 0 being the product and the rest being the maps. Is there any way I can find out what my product code will let me activate. I am convinced that I have only purchased the UK maps, and the major roads of Europe, but if this is the case, why do I have all the disks, unless its a one box suits everyone in Europe case.
If I do only have the UK maps, can I just purchase an activation code for the other maps for Europe. I don't see the point of buying the Europe maps software, to get a second set of disks, as all I need is the activation code.
Hopefully, one of you highly educated people can enlighten me as to what I have got, or possibly what I can activate. The DELL website does quote "maps of western europe" as part of the order description in the customise section.

What does it say under the Product Code on the sticker? Navigator GB is just one (possibly two CDs if you have the update CD with 3.07 software) and it says "TomTom Navigator Great Britain" under the code. A software only pack is in a DVD case.
I wonder if you have Maps of Western Europe and no Navigator 3 product - which cannot be used separately. Unfortunately I don't know what Maps of Western Europe looks like, as I don't have it.
Meanwhile, most of what you pay isn't for the CDs, but for the product code, which represents the licence.
I have CD 0 which is red and seems to contain the program. There are also 9 other CD's which are green, of which CD 1 contains France and Belgium, haven't checked the rest.
The description under the license number states TomTom Navigator Western Europe.
I guess time will tell, when I receive the PocketPC and try and install something. As a minimum I expect to get the UK maps, but may have others as well.
