Hi,
Just purchased TT with Dell AX5.
Getting along great until I tried to use it in anger (so to speak) for the first time.
While trying to cross M1 near Nottingham recently, road closed, diversion would have sent me North on M1 into stationary traffic.
Decided to be clever and wanting to test TT, went South on M1 intending to come off at next junction and head west, TT would do the rest (maybe).
While driving South TT was telling me at next junction to turn tound and go north (as expected). Tried asking for alternate route, no change.
Came off as planned and headed west, TT kept trying to turn me round and send me back to M1. Again, alternate route made no difference.
After a few miles, ignoring the command to turn round, turn left, turn right, I picked up some road signs and headed home.
So, how do you stop it trying to send you back where you have come from?
Can you tell it to ignore motorways?
I know you can avoid areas by drawing abox around an area, seems rather cumbersome, is this the only option?

Hi Steve,
If you tap on the Navigator screen, you should get an option saying 'Avoid Roads' and it will list the main roads that appear on your route. Click one of them to tell TTN to avoid it.
