|

Help,
I have the Ipaq 4150 with a wired TT setup running TT3.
It takes between 20 and 30 minutes for me to get a lock!
I'm using GPS assist and have no others apps running on the PDA.
Car is an Audi A4, 2004, non reflectice windscreen
Does anybody know what is causing this? It happens first thing in the morning, then even if I stop for say 10 mins it takes just as long. I have tried just powering down the PDA without closing the app but still it takes forever.
Help please! |

Do you have the same results when you put the receiver outside the car(clip it to the roof for example)?
Is the reciever LED blinking red while you're waiting for the fix? _________________ Lutz

Yes, the receiver is flashing red and it is the same outside the car.
I have tried staying stationary or setting of on my journey and the results are still the same! |

That's no good. Looks like your unit is faulty. try getting it replaced. _________________ Lutz

Thanks for the advice!
Problem is I think my TT receiver is getting a reset every night as i have it hard wired to the ignition sense on the car so it is only on when the car is on!
As it is a wired type and not bluetooth is there any other way to reset it? |

if it is linked to the ignition it is getting a reset every night. Sounds like the GPS unit is faulty. |
