I have setup a wav file for speed cam warnings but they dont play. I am using checkpoint 3.2 with TT3. I can see the camara's but no warnings.
I'm sure I just need to click something but I can't find it!
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Dibs,
I see that over 300 people have looked at your problem and failed to offer any help.
I am useing checkpoint 2.0 but the settings might be the same as your version.
Start Checkpoint, then goto Overlay settings, select the POI you want sound on (e.g redlight)
then click on Properties, make sure you have 'Detect POI's from the overlay' ticked.
if yours is anything like mine you will see a heading called 'First Warning' , select first warning.
The rest is self explantory, you might have to browse for your wave file.
if this has gone to plan so far, you can repeat this with 'second warning'
then simply repeat the steps to add sounds to the rest of the gatso's.
Hope you get everything working
If the setup isn't the same as my version i'm sure somebody will give you the correct way to get the sound working.
Pete. |

I find CheckPOInt 2.0.2 to be temperamental.
I find that I lose the voice prompt every now and then.
To fix it I have to go and "test" the overlay .wav file settings in CheckPOInt. |

Thanks to all who offered some info on this - I intend to have a good play this weekend to see if I can find out what I'm doing wrong!! I feel sure it's something really easy that I'm missing and just over looking so I'll start from the beginning and try implimenting all your advise. I will post the result here if I get it sorted!
Thanks again

So here we are then.............I sussed it out, took me a while - checkpoint does not start up if you click on TT3 at the today screen. I think because checkpoint closes automatically I thought it also opened the same way but Ohhhh noooo!! I was happy with myself and decided that I must tell you all about it!! :D
Imagine if you will, my disappointment when Steveadi worked it out and posted the answer before me!! Doh!!
Top man Steveadi!!
Thanks all above for your help, I may need you all again one day!!
