New Medion PDA/GPS

I haven't seen the Medion version but suspect that the TMC traffic option is probably the major component omitted from this version. Does it say anywhere who the map data provider is?

In Germany they released a Medion version that used TeleAtlas data whereas Navigon use Navteq. TeleAtlas is a cheaper option and this may be the case with this version?

Yep this uses Tele Atlas data. Seems good enough for my purposes though Smile

I got this one today also anyone know what POI sofware will if any work with it? I'd love to put the speed camera database on it :D

The standard carrying case (described on the leaflet that came with the PDA), does not seem to be available from Medion's UK Web site yet, but it is on the German site www.medionshop.de for 9.95 euros.

Have you tried all the usual electronics retailers that tend to sell PDAs? They MUST have something. Maybe even Woolworths or Argos?

The one on the German site has a clear plastic front...

I liked the old case from the previous Aldi model, as it felt like it would protect the screen...

I brought a case from Pc world its in the camera section and its a lowepro it only just fits in but it makes it so you can still carry it in your pocket and it's a zip up case too so completly protected

New on here bought the medion gps yesterday from Aldi, no companion CD with the kit any ideas. Anybody live near me to borrow one I am in Dunfermline Fife.
