Hi

I am quite intrigued with this topic. If you pass by a camera that does not come up from the db, how do you go about inserting and adding it. Are you supposed to stop and lookup the co-ordinates, when I went to maintain POI it seems to want an address.

Maybe I have it all arse about face in this instance but any help to clarify will be appreciated.

I'm not a techie but this is how I do it (may explain why I'm not getting any beeps too). Once in nav mode, click right bottom corner (where all the details of the journey are) and you will be greeted by the route summary screen. On this route summary screen, tap "map" (middle selection between "Route" and "Done"). Once you tap on "Map" the Map Browser will be displayed. Tap top right hand corner on the GPS buton and it will automatically place the cursor button there. You will notice that your GPS position is moving as the car moves but your initial cursor position wont have budged.

Now, again in Map Browser screen, tap the "Cursor" button on the bottom of the screen (3rd. option from left). Once you have tapped this, it'll bring up the "Cursor Position" screen. Choose "Add POI" then select "Pocketgps uk Gatso (or whatever)" and then it'll prompt you to name the site.

Thats all. Does this sound about right to you experts?

I think that should work.
Haven't tried it, but do you need to "disable" and the "enable" the warning to get the new PoI in line with the rest?

I dont think you need to do that although I did do it in the process while I was messing about with the system. This is assuming you had the system enabled anyway

p/s Got my newly added cameras to beep at me. I guess I just wasnt paying attention before :D !
