3.07 Package
Has anyone installed this yet? Or is it only for Pocket PC 2003 SE devices?

It may fix some issues on SE devices but it doesn't sound as if this only for those.
Quote: | What's new or improved in TomTom Navigator 3.07
Faster searching of street names in Find Address.
New: When a GPS position is available and you have entered a destination, but you are not near a road, a route is planned from the nearest road to the destination. |
The install instructions are very funny:
Quote: | Please note:
If you have a PDA using Windows Mobile SE or an HP37xx, HP47xx or HP63xx Pocket PC please follow these instructions:
- Remove the SD card if inserted.
- Install this application update. |
Now what if you want to install TTN onto the storage card? Do you need to do teleportation?
Just for the record - there is absolutely no need to install any 3.xx GPS drivers on the HP 63xx - it works perfectly well with 2.06 or 2.07 _________________ Lutz

Well I've installed it on my 2210's SD card :D
Left it in and ran the installation, clicked no and pointed it to the SD.
Seems to be working fine. They've changed the GPS system tray icon too, its looking a little more modern.
Street searching is definitely improved, almost instant, infact, the whole thing appears to be running quicker.

Any idea then the Traffic version of this update will be available.
As I cannot get Traffic working over bluetooth to my phone with the current version on my hx4700 (see my 'TT Traffic and Ipaq hx4700' post in the Trafiic forum). Hopefully this may resolve my problem.

Has anybody else found the 3.07 GPS update to be a little inconsistent? Had it running in the car last night and found sometiems the location would perfect and sometimes it would lag a little more than it used to, and it was the same on all three of my receivers |

Isn't v3.05T the relevant TTNav 3 update for Traffic users?? |

No
I have been using 3.05T for a while now, acording to the TomTom website it only includes the change to use the operational Traffic server no mention of 2003 SE compatibility.

When I looked at the TomTom website it said you should install the update if you are running 2003 SE. As I just have 2003 on my iPAQ 2210 I didn't download it

I've installed it on my 2210 as well. Address lookup much faster. Will have to wait and see if I can now have POIs displayed or whether I will still have to have them hidden. _________________ Rgds,

3.07 worked fine on a long trip for me - I have "2003 Premium" label on the back of my 2110

//POI On
Nope. Still get the GPS Position Unreliable message every few seconds however it seems fine other than that.

FWIW I have updated both GPS and TT3 to 3.07 on an iPaq 3870 running PPC2002, and it's been running ok.
Still can't find Scarborough though. |

As posted earlier in this thread, I decided not to instal 3.07, as my iPAQ 2210 has windows 2003 (not 2003SE). This decision has been confirmed by TomTom Customer support, whose reply to my query is quoted below
"This update is mainly intended for an HP63xx Pocket PC
MDA2/XDA2/QTEK2020.
The correct update at this moment for the 2210 is 3.03"
Hope this is helpful for others who are not quite sure whether to download
