hi all, new member here, also new to gps etc, please help, (as i was flashed by speedcam only last week). can any 1 tell me were i can d-load speedcam detector and more importantly how to install it, PLEASE, i have tomtom 3 bluetooth with hp ipaq 1940, i have managed to d-load gatso etc, but cant install it, (dont even know if its the right 1?) thanx in advance for any help, cheers teessider. |

hi beefy, thanx for the link, ive followed installation very carefuly but, i havnt got icons of speedcams anywer on my navigator screen? must being doing somethin wrong, but i dont no wot, can u help please, thanx again. |

i copied the, "pktgps_uk_specs" (which is 22x22 bitmap image) is this the right 1? please? i also copied the "pktgps_uk_specs.ov2" (0V2FILE,1KB)please assist again beefy, thank u for ur patience again, teessdider. |

The reason you can't see any speed camera is that you also need to copy over the Gatso file and the redlight files with their associated BMP's. The SPECS file is for a special camera system that there are only about three or four sites in the UK. This is a system that monitors your average speed.
The GATSO file has the main speed cameras in the UK. Make sure that you go into "Properties" and then "POI" and tick the GATSO and Redlight cameras after you have loaded them onto your PPC. _________________ Beefy
