Hi,
Does anyone else have this problem or a solution. After about 6 minutes of not touching my Hx4700 the Dockware software cuts in. Its like a screensaver that shows photo's, time and a calender. I have tried not putting any photo's on my Hx4700 but a black screen with the calender and time comes up. I can't find any programme options for it. or how to remove the programme from the ipaq.
Any ideas? |

to disable dockware, from the start up menu, select programs, tap the dockware icon and dockware will start up. Whilst its running tap and hold the screen (blue circles) and it will open the dockware menu. Un-tick start automatically check box and this should stop it from starting.
Since your using the 4700 in a car, could you let me know which mounting kit your using and if its any good?
chers

Mounting kit!
Funny you should mention that! I'm waiting for the post to bring me my new brodit pro clip and the new Brodit Hx4700 powered mount that is being fitted by an engineer along with a sony bluetooth handsfree kit! So i'll let you know when he has been. I'll also take some pictures and see if i can put them on the "reader Mounts" page, but that will take a few days to sort out.
thanks all,. me being stupid i should have thought of holding down the stylus, especially as this is my third ipaq!!!!! dumbass 8O |

Just to let you know,
I think the Brodit kit is awsome. works perfectly, worth £45 for the whole set-up. I have it on the left side of the console so it is directed to me. With my sysonchip gps cf 2 i still pick up 7-10 sats! really nice neat finish. i have been using a windscreen mount till now! but was fed-up with it being so bulky and the vibrations! as i said i'll get some pics taken and sent to the reader mounts page. 8) |
