In-App Purchases Working Again - BUT...!

Just a quick update that after jumping through lots of hoops the other month with Apple that In-App Purchases are now working again.

However, if you're historically a member of the website then we much prefer you to subscribe and renew directly through the website due to the almost 40% that Apple keep for in-app purchases.

In-app purchases are useful for those discovering the app who don't have a history of the website as it allows for easy payments and account set-up etc.

Here's the breakdown of fees:

Website - PayPal:
User pays: £19.99
PayPal fee: £0.88
We get: £19.11

Website - Nochex:
User pays: £19.99
Nochex fee: £0.72
We get: £19.27

Manual - Cheque:
User pays: £19.99
Bank fee: £0.70
We get: £19.29

iOS -In-App Purchase - 12mth:
User pays: £19.99 $19.99 USD
Apple fee: £8.40 $5.99 USD
We get: £11.59 $14.00 USD


As you can see, we lose a lot from Apple's cut!
