Received my DriveCam 76 today but it appears to be a windscreen mounting device only. The supplied suction mount with an integrated none reversible device 'quick release clip' and camera viewing hole thru forbids its reorientation for dashboard fixing. The said camera viewing hole is otherwise obstructed by the mount . Has any member encountered this or maybe offer a solution to this problem. For reference the DriveCam 76 does not appear to have a 'flip display' feature with could solve this issue. I've Googled to death looking for alternative mounts to no avail and cannot find in any advertising literature or manual that says this is 'windscreen mountable device ONLY otherwise I would not have purchased it. Help please

Update: As this seems quite an obscure problem I've fired off an email to Garmin customer services here in the UK. I received an auto response acknowledgement saying they will review the issue and should take a few days to respond. I'll keep the forum updated with the result. Who knows, maybe a 180 degree screen 'flip screen' feature might be quickly written into a software update thereby opening up more flexibility to the Drivecam 76 and consequential upturn in sales. This screen rotate feature was standard on other Satnav makes if my memory serves me right.

I can see how this would a problem
I always dash mounted my Garmins as the rake of the windscreen put them too far away to reach _________________ DashCam:

Many thanks Kremmen, always nice to see that you understand my predicament as it's the same as yours. I'm a little surprised that the Garmin product development team overlooked such an important scenario, but that's life these days. As promised I will keep the forum updated.
