DriveSmart 76 not displaying POI, except cameras

Today, on a long journey, I noticed that general POIs (petrol stations, supermarkets, food outlets, etc.) were not displaying, although speed cameras were shown. The various POIs could still be found individually using 'Where To', 'Custom POI' (i.e. POIs downloaded from this site). I tried reloading my POI file several times - nothing. My POI and cameras are in different folders, viz. 'GPS data base/POI and /cameras - if that helps. Is this Garmin 'improving' its offering and this is a general happening, or has my unit got a problem?

I don't have your model but generally all POIs that you load yourself should be in the POI folder. They will only show if you have the correct layer selected in settings. Of course Garmin may have changed this as the latest Garmin I have is a DriveSmart 51.

I've been dragged into Android Auto Google Maps with my latest car

As above though, I'm sure there is a setting behind the spanner icon for what to display
