Hi Leo, I'm having a few issues with my STA app on my Google 8 Pro phone.
For a little while the app will drop off the front screen, on its own, even though all settings haven't changed and it shows that the app is still doing something as the app tile has a dot on it.
Also it has stopped warning me, as I get closer to a camera (Bleeps), if I am over the speed limit of said camera. I use it on the speed setting and the dial goes red but it does not bleep at me like it used to. Again all settings appear to be as they should.
Any idea what I can do to get it back up and running as it did?

I noticed something similar two days ago, but I was switching between other apps, and I thought I did something wrong. However, it looked strange, I'v never seen such behavior before.
I also use 8 Pro, will keep watching, don't know what was this.
The issue is reproducible? I mean this happens every time you use the app. |

Also the PGPSWorld updates have stopped since the 1st of June. I can manually add them onto my phone though.......
It's just like the old days.  |

And now its working again. The only change I did was the option to check on start up.....
Not sure if that was all it needed but I've still got the other two issues, the not warning one is the one I'd like to get fixed though.....  |

| Looks like the latest update has virtually stopped the app from dropping off the screen, whilst in use, but still not getting any verbal warnings (Increasing bleeps or a spoken warning) that I'm travelling too fast as I approach a camera..... |

The app shutting down is still there but no as often but it doesn't have the dot on the app tile as before.
Also the bleeping warnings, if travelling too fast, still do not work and does not work on my girlfriends S22 either.......  |

I have finally found crash report in Google Play Dev Console that came from Pixel 8 Pro.
Crash happened when user of the device was driving between SPECS, avg speed control was active in that moment.
Could it be your case? |

It shut down on me, on my way into work this morning.
I was just passing camera and was announcing it when it shut down, half way through what it was saying.
Also when I went back into the app there was no sound but I shut it back down and then restarted it, But this is quite normal. Still no warning bleeps increasing if too fast.
Also it was a standard Gatso camera, so not a Specs one.... |

Downloaded the latest update and it shut down this morning on my way into work. No where near any cameras, etc...
Still not increasing its bleeps if travelling too fast to a camera. |

Maybe but I tried it on my girlfriends S22 and it does the same as mine..... |
