Hi, have a new Start 52, have English postcodes but wont recognise any in Scotland! Do I have to download a database? if so how do I get them into the device? Have unstalled the lastest map - if this helps. |

ALL tt satnavs do full seven digit searches. Remember you must enter them WITHOUT a space. _________________ Dennis

Thanks Dennis, sat nav wouldnt accept a full digit post code of Scotland! kept asking for a street name! - couldnt give one. Might have to send the unit back, my via 52 can take a post code (7) direct without any issue. |

Just one more thing. Are you affected by TT’s latest foolishness of splitting up the UK with maps. My GO mobile app on my phone actually has three maps installed. So do a quick check if you’ve got Scotland, by doing a navigate to an address in Scotland - guess Glasgow, Station Road (surely every city has a Station Road, or a High Street?).
Here’s picture of maps I have.

Hi, it came with a map of europe only, downloaded and made use of UK map (2 maps showing). Problem still there; some areas of London and Whitchurch also dont show on the new sat nav, looking like I will have to send it back, thanks for your help. |
