Well T5YOB, please just try it and report back on success or otherwise. (There is a simulator on the Garmin, so you don't even need to go out) |

Never knew you could do this, never really fiddled about with the Sat Nav that much tbh, but tried it via this way and all works fine, it's nice having spoken speed camera alerts now on the nav. |

Result. And just in case, Neither did I until someone who's username starts with either K or s pointed me at it.
Next thing is to have a go at Kremmen's CSV to GPX converter. Quite a steep learning curve, but well wort it. |

Hi all
I have a Garmin Zumo 390.
I previously (several years ago) downloaded the camera database from here.
I seem to remember having to make all sorts of changes in Excel before I could load them ( though the memory is a bit hazy so I may have it wrong!)
The last database warned me when there was a camera and, if I was above the limit, warned me again.
Is this the same database?
I read the sticky and followed the instructions and the data has transferred but it seems like a different process.
So I wondered if A) I have the right database B) If I have done it correctly?
Many Thanks in advance |

Hi stringman
You shouldn't need to change any of the data itself but you may have manually changed the alert icons?
The instructions for your device are here: https://www.pocketgpsworld.com/uksafetycameras-garmin.php
Or you can use the steps at the start of this thread. |
