Do we know whether we would be getting camerAlert on apple Carplay anytime soon.
It would make sense, as in my opinion its the best speed cam alert and would sit very well with google maps or Waze. |

At present no. I'm currently trying to find a developer that would be able to take it on. |

Good New Year! Our family got a new car with Apple CarPlay. Could you please open why you have a need to add CA to ACP? I can use many navigator (car's, Waze, Google, IOS) and when I have CA open in my phone, I can have alerts from car's audio. Is there something else needed?
(It would be beneficial if I could split car's screen to Navi and CA, but when the screen is in middle it's not good for safety.) |

I know I'm talking Android but my phone seems quite happy to send Google Maps, in satellite view, to my cars headunit and send Speedtrap Alert voice alerts through the headunit as well
It works very well
If you're looking to have camera locations overlaid into the mapping I doubt if that is possible
For me, the STA voice alert with camera type and speed is enough to prompt me to check the speedo _________________ DashCam:

Hi guys. Hope someone can help out with this little issue I have. When I open CameraAlert and look to open my TomTom Go maps with it the option to select TT Go in the settings missing. The only things there are google and Apple Maps. How do I get TT Go in the listing. Running an updated iPhone 14 Pro btw.
Thanks in advance. _________________ TT Go 6100 |

Aah, again I can say my favorite phrase: "read the manual"! Okay, I'm just kidding.
The manual (link can be found found from this iOS forum) lists TomTom, so either it has dropped from the list or there is some other issue with TT.
But there is workaround (Chapter 6 - Customizing... and e) automatically Run...) where you can add URL by yourself. I have never done it, so hope it works. |

It seems like TomTom has changed their URL format (or possibly removed it).
The best way to work out what it is would be to share a location link from the app and see what format it uses. It will be something like '//tomtom' or may even be more complex.
But you can use that in the 'custom' option as per akkipaa's comment above.
