Hi Everyone, lifetime member from way back.
I used to use this on my Tomtoms in my various cars.
Then once GPS became standard in most cars I ditched the Tomtoms.
Fast forward a million years and I now own a Tesla model 3 and wondered if anyone had managed to get the database to integrate into the Tesla Google maps.
Here’s hoping someone much clever than me has figured this out.
*apologies if this is in the wrong section but I wasn’t sure where the question would fit.

Hi mrfreeze,
Whilst I think that there is a way to add your own custom POIs to Google Maps, I believe that Tesla use their own proprietary version of Google Maps so that you cannot add your own custom POIs to Tesla's Google Maps.
Your best bet for camera warnings is to use either CamerAlert (iOS iPhone) or STA (Android).
Out of interest, do you have an iPhone and if so, do you have the POIViewer app for managing POIs? I'd like to know if the following works for navigating to a POI in a Tesla:
1. Lauch POI Viewer
2. Find the POI and select it
3. Tap on direction
4. Tap on "More apps.."
5. Tap on the Tesla App, the coordinates of the POI should be sent to the app and then the Tesla itself.

Thanks for the link, that’s not me at the end, but I could see why you think it was. I didn’t have a Tesla in 2020. _________________ Go 720 v8.351 GPS v1.20 Boot 5.5120

Hi Robert,
Yes I have an IPhone but not the POI viewer. Just looked and it’s a paid app. _________________ Go 720 v8.351 GPS v1.20 Boot 5.5120
