I have a mereceds SL350 with the Comand NTG 2.5. I have been trying to install POI's Does nay one know if this is actually possible? |

Won’t work unfortunately.
Daimler removed any method to add alerts on legal grounds.
And god knows I tried….

It seems most, if not all, manufacturers are preventing databases being loaded into headunits.
In my opinion and usage that is no longer a problem for me.
My solution is to use Speedtrap Alert (Android) that broadcasts user adjustable timely warnings and removes the need to look away from the road.
When approaching a camera I get 'told' of the camera type and speed. Do I need to see a map icon - no, not really needed.
Most modern headunits allow smartphone connections so job done. _________________ DashCam:

I totally agree. Speedtrap Alert is a good and easy to use app. |
