I've tweaked the firewall to allow you in - you shouldn't get that CAPTCHA now.

Thank you.
Captcha still appears for URL:

http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/temp/users/pgpsw-speed-cams-XXXXX-(20-013).zip

this is the final step. All previous steps succeed.

I see captcha in browser. STA tries to work with received content as with ZIP stream and of course fails.

Due to it being illegal to use a speed camera detector in France we don't automatically include it with the European download. On the download page you need to manually tick the box to include French cameras.

There are 2 bespoke French databases in STA :

'France' and 'France - Autonomes et chantiers'

Whether they are still available I've no idea.

Hi, loving STA so far. Just enrolled for beta to try the new pgps update facility but I'm stumped.
I can get the input screen for entering user details but the box is too large for my screen (an android car head unit in landscape) and it doesn't scroll for me to input credentials. Works ok on my phone in portrait. I have a screenshot but can't upload.

Anyone help?

Landscape layout wasn't taken into account, this is the app bug.
Will be fixed in nearest updates.

PS.
PGPSW over-the-air update now in the production (1.2.05, version code 94)

Thanks Leo.

Hi Leo, any update on getting the landscape issue fixed for database registration?

Is there any way that one can move the speedometer. At the moment it is blocking the traffic info.

Many thanks,

Allan

Can we have it so when approaching a Truvelo camera, it warns you sooner as they are forward facing cameras... Wink

I think Truvelo cameras are the same code as Gatso cameras so PGPSW would need to separate them first for identification.

Ah, right. Maybe an option to change when the warnings start, like on the Garmins, might help then....

The blue speed widget is also showing the speed limit occasionally. I have gone through each of the settings but can't find a way to switch it off.

Help please!

Many thanks,

Allan
