If you experience any crashes then it can be very helpful to provide us with the iPhone's crash logs for us to dissect.
These logs are automatically transferred to your computer whenever you sync your phone can can be found in the following folders dependent on OS:
Mac: ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/[DEVICE_NAME]
XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Application Data\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter/[DEVICE_NAME]
Vista / 7: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter/MobileDevice/[DEVICE_NAME]
Note that in Windows the 'AppData' and 'Application Data' folders are hidden by default so you may need to either change the folder settings to view hidden files and folder OR type in the folder structure into Windows Explorer.
In the folders above you will see that the logs are prefixed with the app name - Look for 'cameralert' and then zip and email any of these log files to mike AT pocketgpsworld.com with the subject 'CamerAlert Crash Logs' - please use this email subject to avoid the email being missed inadvertently!

My purchased installation has been crashing after 8 minutes every time I run it, but tonight it lasted 18 minutes..
But still no sign of a crash log being sync'd to my iMac... I'll try a Dell desktop next.

I too have had the app crash on me with my 3G running OS4 (now wiped clean and given to Mrs Spikey), and with my new iPhone 4. No Cameralert crash logs for the relevent times appear.
On checking crash log file descriptions it appears that they have been due to low memory not directly due to CamerAlert. I have tried running TT and Cameralert together (I know CA is not true multitasking yet) this may be part of my problem, although I also noticed that on a couple of occassions it coincided with an email being received. _________________ Mike
