Uninstalled GE 7.7 & reinstalled GE 7.5. GE7.5 recognised both units first time. Then upgraded to 7.7 and neither unit recognised so back to 7.5 and no issues which suggests there is a glitch in the 7.7 software in respect of some units? |

I tried getting 7.5 (and 7.4.1) from Updown.com but was warned by MalwareBytes that it was suspect. I removed 7.7 and installed that version of 7.5 but although it recognised the devices, it kept saying "Our servers are down"
Today, I tried 7.2.2, which I had used to revert with a previous issue and it worked OK. At present it's updating the map on the PC. (Previously 7.7 had updated the Nuvi but failed on the PC.) _________________ ... Joe

I'm also getting the error message saying cannot connect as the servers are down when I connect my Camper 780 unit yet I don't get it when I immediately connect my Drivesmart 55 unit. I un-installed the latest GE software over the weekend and re-installed GE7.5 and initally all was fine but yesterday this version of GE started giving issues. Now at a loss as to resolve the issue and Garmin aren't any help and seem to suggest I'm imagining things! |
