My Garmin doesn't communicate with GE

Uninstalled GE 7.7 & reinstalled GE 7.5. GE7.5 recognised both units first time. Then upgraded to 7.7 and neither unit recognised so back to 7.5 and no issues which suggests there is a glitch in the 7.7 software in respect of some units?

I'm also getting the error message saying cannot connect as the servers are down when I connect my Camper 780 unit yet I don't get it when I immediately connect my Drivesmart 55 unit. I un-installed the latest GE software over the weekend and re-installed GE7.5 and initally all was fine but yesterday this version of GE started giving issues. Now at a loss as to resolve the issue and Garmin aren't any help and seem to suggest I'm imagining things!
