Speed camera upload issue

I just uploaded Speed camera files to Garmin Drivesmart 65. The uploaded GPI file shows date of 16/10/2020 @ 22:13. Tried to delete this file and same date! Also, tried the same with the memory card in it and same problem. I am confused!

topref · Mine are showing 22/4/2020 for last Thursday. I'm also running the same 65.

I'll check ny DS61 later and see what that shows.

The only cameras I know off hand that have recently changed are on the M4 between Reading and Maidenhead. If they are all showing 60 then the data is current.

Update - my GPI date is 07/02/2020 on the DS61. I think this is Windows not updating the file details when you overwrite an existing file.

I'll bet that if you delete the existing file before you update it the date will change.

Update 2 - Just deleted the existing GPI on my 2599 (which is indoors so handy) and the GPI just created does have todays time and date.

If you right click the file and choose 'properties' from teh context menu it should have a created date as well as a modified date. I suspect the date you are seeing is the created date and windows is modifying the already-existing file as opposed to creating a new file.

Kremmen's experiment above would back this too.

I did do that and both dates were same, created and modified.

Yes, POIloader, when it writes out and does a replace seems to maintain the existing file properties.

Plan B - use the POILoader option to remove all existing camera files, then go again.

Are you 100% sure the actual data is the latest ?

Where is POILoader pointing to and are the files there an April 2021 date ?

Mine always shows the latest date so suspect this is a Windows issue and nothing to do with POI loader.

No luck. Same old date after directory change and 2021 files! Not sure how to post my image here.
