I occasionally used to visit the GPSPassion website for hints or tips / news that came from this North American website. I tried to visit the website before Christmas but just got an error message. I tried again at the weekend but without success.
Does anyone know if it is simply a server type issue or has it closed / gone dark? I'm surprised there wasn't any form of notice so wonder if other PGPSW members know what's happened and whether it will return. _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.80

It's been down for a while now. Its had hardly any traffic recently so think it's just been closed down. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way.
I'm surprised there was no pre-warning though if this is the case. A shame if it has gone down though.

Rather odd - having spotted this thread I just tried to bring up the website. Worked for me and not in my cache as I've never been there on this phone.

The last message posted in its "Garmin Nuvi forum" seems to have been on the 19th Aug 2020. (See The Wayback Machine).
The domain name was renewed on the 20th Aug 2020 (by someone in Panama...)
Poking around the archived pages, I couldn't spot any formal "closing down notice"
