Doubling up here as well:
It is also screwed. After updating both units it's still showing that they both have available updates, that the individual pages agree that there isn't.
Where do they get these developers from ? _________________ DashCam:

I've noticed that too. You have to disconnect the PND from GE Express and reconnect for it to register that there's no updates. Very frustrating to update and GE to keep showing that update is still available to install. _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.80

Then how on earth can I still be running V6.21.0.0 by the process of clicking the 'Not now' button? |

Good question. Mine updated automatically. Have you tried to update your map etc though? That's when you may have to accept the update as (normally) Express then insists you update. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Dunno. Map not due for update recently.
All I have done previously is hit the 'Not now' button (including today) to give you 'beta testers' time to sort it out and tell me it's OK. |

My Garmin Express doesn't update itself automatically.
(That's good - it won't bring me new problems !)
I'm on 6.19.4.0.
When I launch GE, it says that a new version (7.0.1.0) is available, and there are two buttons - Install now, and Don't install now.
So I politely declined.
Nevertheless it allowed me to download all the new maps and firmware to device and computer, just fine. _________________ nuvi 2599LMT-D, oregon 700, basecamp, memory-map. |

I had a problem installing the new map update. Eventually realised from the FAQ that the problem might be GE which demanded an update but wouldn't.
I followed the advice, rebooted my computer and then reinstalled GE, or rather started the process. It seemed to stall. I closed it, reopened GE and lo and behold GE was now upgraded.
Connected my SatNav and the map update is progressing.
Previous indications prior to Map Update failing was a predicted update time of 3 hours. When started this jumper to 9 hours. If I selected update to the computer it jumped to 23 hours. |

Release notes for 7.0.2 will be posted here once Garmin Forums is back up and running. Most of the Garmin website seems to be working as usual (with updates on the recent alleged 'ransomware' attack. _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.80

7.1.1.0 released after 7.1.0.0 pulled possibly due to causing problems with some devices. _________________ Garmin Drive 51LMT-S EU

Just had the alert for the 7.1.1.0 update and updated it now. Wonder what the difference is? Is the routing issue some people having related to this or is that a map issue? |
