Samsung crash log

I wonder why it crashes with that 'classnotfound' error but is OK on previous and next models.

Shame there is no Android developer on board to fix it.

I was able to see the "link my account" option so now all good. Very Happy

Just to add watch on this thread. Thanks for pursuing this Kremmen but doesn't seem pocketgps making much progress towards fixing it as of October

After many hours of failed attempts I've finally managed to get CA running under Android Studio.

This may very well fail but the crucial bit, that shows in the crash log, just shows success.

Trying to track it down is another story:

This tells me nothing other than it works here:

"$ adb shell am start -n "com.pocketgpsworld.cameralert/com.pocketgpsworld.cameralert.MainScreen" -a android.intent.action.MAIN -c android.intent.category.LAUNCHER"

Kremmen - what version of Android is the emulator running? Is that 11 or 10?

Neither.

I can only get it working with odd combinations.

SDK 24 seems to work, anything higher and it keeps crashing out with the same error that the phones are getting.

Not having a lot of luck though. Came back in to have another go and it lost all my settings including the linked SDK.

My next thought is to create a simple 'Hello World' project and see what gives.

The number of errors and warnings, even when it works, is mind blowing. A lot of them seem to point to files on an E:\ drive which I can only assume was from the developers build and therefore files I have not got and not embedded in the APK.

I know nothing about Android SDK's, but is there file anywhere on a working Samsung Android 10 that would be of use to you?
