Hi Leo_A,
Just to clarify, the distance covered number, is that just for average speed or for all part of the journey?
If it's just for average speed then does it zero when passing a MIDDLE SPECS camera?
Also, does STA reset the average speed every time a MIDDLE SPECS camera is passed?

Oh, I wonder what my average speed was between Bexhill and Eastbourne. Ah, I know, I'll turn on the average speed calculation tomorrow because I can.
Having said that, if there is not an easy method of resetting the trip average speed calculation 'on the go', it would be improved quite a bit by making that feature easily available. On CA IIRC it's done just by tapping the speed readout. I can't check that though because it doesn't run on my Samsung phone. |

Avg speed reset

For journey. There is another one distance (not displayed) is for average speed. When you reset avg speed, it becomes zero. That, displayed, stays.

For SPECS the app uses independent values of DistanceCovered and TimeStart
SPECS doesn;t affect journey avg speed.

Yes, it resets, but it resets above DistanceCovered and TimeStart values for SPECS.
Resuming:
The app has and displays the 'journey distance', it always grows as you move and never resets.
The app has journey avg. speed, you can reset it, but this doesn't affect 'journey distance'.
The app has independent SPECS avg. speed and every next NON-END SPECS resets it. |

Just to bump the subject..............
Is there going to be any way of removing the average speed figure in speedo mode as I find it very distracting? |

Ditto
As I've said a few times but never got any reply, an option to only have it show when in a zone.
Plus, option for overspeed via bluetooth TTS. _________________ DashCam:
