wav /mp3 alerts not working - IOS.

Hi.

I have a Garmin 3598LMT and I'm trying to get Speed Camera voice alerts to work - no success so far, this is because I have just moved from Windows to IOS.

Previously on Windows all was fine with the aid of an old version of POI loader, the Sox file and a mp3 file converted to wav.

IOS is a different beast and so I need to bow to the greater knowledge of you guys who have a lot better understanding of IOS and have cured the problem.

Beware my understanding of IOS is at about 10% max.


On the other hand would it be easier to learn how to install the cameras and voices to a Volkswagen Discover pro radio nav system.
whichever is the easier approach will be fine.

I would guess the underlying requirement for POILoader would be the same.

My guess would be (as discussed with OP in PM) that sox.exe will probably not work in IOS (Unless someone knows differently), thus making getting voices to work difficult?

Good find K, but I'll not take advantage as I have absolutely no intention of becoming an Apple fanboy anytime soon, but it will likely help Intrakota.
