No technical reason as far as I can see other than bad design not getting rid of the heat generated.
Luckily, most TVs are better designed as far as heat dissipation is concerned. |

Rearview cameras are permitted. The regulations regarding rearview mirrors were changed and mirrors or rearview cameras are now referred to as Devices for Indirect Vision. |
