Hey, I’m so sorry, I got it wrong. Jacob’s election leaflet has just arrived (he’s my MP and no I didn’t). It says 20,000 police, not 10,000. Plus 33.9 billion for the NHS and ‘more money’ for every single pupil, even those not in his constituency.

The way I read it was that the 20k plod Theresa got rid of will be replaced but that does take time.

I can't see them being replaced that soon.

Much like the 6,000 extra doctors they reckon are on the cards. You can't just take a person from the job centre and sit them in a GP surgery diagnosing and prescribing.
