I've tried BC 3 or 4 times and each time uninstalled it in disgust.

I think it's one of those programs you need to learn and once you have it's easy peasy.

As I've said before, one big issue I had was trying to adjust the created route by 'rubber banding'. It would immediately recalculate, create a loop, routing me back to where I'd diverted from.

Strange as I've never seen that unless I'm daft enough to pick a point on the wrong side of a divided carriageway, then I get a loop Laughing

The UK support team have asked me for screenshots, so I may be following the same path!

For your information, my Reference ID is 15028341K0

Do you have a reference, so that I can get them to link the two reports?

Just received this reply:

This was an issue reported last year but it was something that was not able to be resolved by our engineers, our newer devices do not have this issue but it is not something that will be resolved on this device unfortunately.

Given that it should be a simple software fix I've gone back to them, if I get any better news I'll update this thread.

Slightly different from the reply I got:

"I can see this was mentioned last year but we were not able to resolve the issue , I can raise this as a user experience issue to see if this is something that can be fixed with any future updates"

The work-around is to leave points as Vias, but that means if you bypass one, it will try to double back. Shaping points are automatically skipped if you're further down the route.

Agreed, will just need to use the skip function instead.

Not quite so convenient as you can't get to it from Voice Commands.
