Hi Kremmen,
For some reason, the last 3-4 Camera updates loaded via CSV - GPX have failed to load any pMobiles. I have the box ticked for them on the programme and they still warn me; however, I am thinking they are the old ones not being overwritten - any thoughts please...Thanks Dave. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599 LMT-D |

Are you ticking the 'include pMobiles' when you download the file from here ? _________________ DashCam:

Hi Kremmen,
Thanks for the speedy reply. When I did an update earlier today all was fine, apart from zero pMobiles being reported as loaded on the log. Now, when I checked to make sure that pMobile was ticked before downloading when I tried to update: it came up with that Sound files; Gatso.csv, Mobile.csv and Specs.csv were missing; Also the same Picture Files. And yet picture & sound are not csv. (are they)? I will try a reinstall from fresh tomorrow...Thanks. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599 LMT-D |

Once you have downloaded and copied the sound and icon files to your working folder, you don't need any new ones, just the latest .csv files. |

Hi Kremmen & M8TJT,
Sorted: thanks for your help; as usual, operator error What I had done, for some unknown reason, setting aside stupidity, downloaded the Consolidated instead of the Speed Zoned files. As soon as they were unzipped into the working folder - Job was a Goodun. Thanks for your help, your programme is a money saver.com Thanks again...Dave. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599 LMT-D |

You can download the files from within the program. Top left dropdown. That will download the correct package.
I must admit though, I download manually as well. Those nice people here have an option to 'download the same as last time but the latest version'. _________________ DashCam:

So I just installed the latest version expecting it to over-write the previous version and I now have 2 versions installed. Did I do something wrong and how do I get rid of the earlier version? |

You shouldn't be able to install it twice. It's always told me to uninstall the old one first. That's a Microsoft ClickOnce restriction.
Just use Microsoft's own uninstall routine.
I'd uninstall both then install clean.
If the above doesn't work then navigate to:
C:\Users\[your username]\Appdata\Local\Apps\2.0\~
and delete everything in the 2.0 folder and below. _________________ DashCam:

Thanks Kremmen. Uninstalled both and reinstalled latest version and everything seems fine now. |

Ta
Still puzzled with how Microsoft allowed the second install. They never used to. _________________ DashCam:

What OS and version? I wonder if it's a new and exciting thing about W10 1903 |

We haven't been offered 1903 (04/05) yet so I can't test that.
Must be low on the list.
However .... following on from M8's theory, the hieroglyphic folder name it created was always the same regardless of how many times you uninstalled/reinstalled. Maybe a new W10 version creates a different folder name so allows a second install. _________________ DashCam:

Media installation tool will install it for you, but be prepared to go to Personalisation and turn off the Transparency Effects. (You'll find out)
I'll have a go at reinstalling on my 1903 later. |

Hi, I have just upgraded from my 2015.12.07.23 version to 2019.02.16.83 and have an error 5 issue, specifically
The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel. Error No 5.
Once I acknowledge the error, the app closes so I cannot check any further settings.
Windows 7 fully updated
if I open https://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php in the browser it takes me to the main account page with me already logged in.
Internet speed is 100mb/100mb
regards

Interesting error, I need to investigate that one.
It has to be related to the program interrogating 'here' to obtain the latest database version.
I'll be back _________________ DashCam:
