All 3 TT GO 700's ((M5) working perfectly on a 3 hour drive ...

OS 9.051 Europe_west 1025_9386 (my preferred version),
OS 9.541 Europe_west 1025_9386 (latest SE offering from here),
OS 7.903 Western_europe 660.1219 (original off the CD !!)

So no problems with the device at all, so far !! Having done the research I'll now be putting all three back to OS 9.051 Europe_west 1025_9386 as IMHO it's the one that works best, for me

There is a 95% chance that I won't be needing one of these anyhow, as I have changed the car to an Audi with a built in system , and it seems it can be kept up-to-date easily ...we wait and see.. Wife and kids will still use the Go 700's so you wont see the back of me ... yet ......

So it seems that it was all much of a Y2000 all over again .... nowt happened !!

Do you have RDS-TMC functioning in full x40 emulation using Navcore 9.541?
On my 910's I can only get it working using X40light emulation which is a little frustrating.
Everything else including the old RF remote works flawlessly.

So when running Navcore 9.541 SE on your 700's which emulation were you using?
Surely 9.051 suffers from the WNRO bug as it's an ancient Navcore or did you swap the glgps file?

Oh come on guys... at least we're enthusiastically posting and contributing... there are plenty of other forums we could use instead.
If your TomTom has been affected by the WNRO bug our posts are helpful in helping rekindle your device.
Perhaps the PGW forum police should holster their keyboards and not unnecessarily berate actively/regularly contributing members?

But why not just hit the 'Post Reply' button at the bottom of the thread instead of the 'Quote' button?
Yet another Snowflake.

I’ll repeat, I was laughing. But there are actually two serious points to make.

First, the quotes gradually get smaller and harder to read and being further and further indented, they appear longer and longer.

Second, DeLorean rightly says you are offering help for others benefit. So don’t make them struggle through each host of nested quotes as the thread develops, grant them the respect of believing they have the sense to read the comments, without having to re-read them each time there’s an addition.

Exactly my thoughts too! Admin etc, could we please have a "like" or "thanks" button as most forums have?

Also agree with Dennis.

The car forum has them and you tend to find 'mates' always liking each others posts, even when they contain a load of tosh.
